An Invitation Dear colleagues and friends,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the 39th Annual EABCT Congress to be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, on 16-19 September 2009.
We are honored to have the opportunity to host the congress in one of the most beautiful cities in south-east Europe with remarkable history, art, culture and charm. By coming to Dubrovnik you will be able to enjoy the pleasures of beautiful beaches, Mediterranean food, good wine, but also the company and warm hospitality of its inhabitants. Besides all the historical and touristy beauties of the city, we will offer you the opportunity to present your work, discuss different topics, to teach your colleagues or learn from others.
The field of cognitive-behavioral therapies has become very broad. The congress will try to demonstrate up-today status and stress the new perspective in practice, teaching and research of CBT. With your help we will learn about the latest conceptualization of psychopathology in adulthood, elderly and childhood, perspective treatment techniques and their evaluation. Congress topics will also focus on application of CBT techniques in the fields outside psychopathology, primarily behavioral medicine (physical health problems), but also education and parenting.
If we did not give you enough reasons, then just come and meet your friends or make the new ones.
Welcome to the 39th Annual EABCT Congress in the beautiful city of Dubrovnik, pearl of Adriatic. |
